Seashore - North Shore 415

The last interurban dining car in existence is this car, tavern-lounge car 415 from the Chicago North Shore & Milwaukee. This car was built in 1926 and later in life was rebuilt as a Silverliner and used as part of the "Substitute Electroliner" set. It has been at Seashore since 1977.

When I was there in 1999, there was a dining car available on the Melbourne (Australia) metro that made regular trips on the system
