Photo of Wichita Transportation 186
Wichita Transportation 186

Wichita Transportation 186 is a single-end, double-truck streetcar constructed by St. Louis Car Company in 1912. Retired in 1934, the body survived and was eventually acquired by the local historical society for preservation. The car is currently in storage. This car was single-ended; shown is the "blind side" which did not have doors (the doorway in the center was cut in during its "chicken coop" years). Photo by Jim Vaitkunas, posted with permission.
