Muni 0109 is a work car which was built in 1900 using parts from an 1890 streetcar. First a dump car, it was later rebuilt as a rail grinder and finished its days in that role. In the 1970's it went to the Western Railway Museum in Rio Vista, CA, where it is currently located. Photo by Karl Johnson, posted with permission.
